Google Calendar Integration
Our application offers an optional Google Calendar integration that allows you to sync your DOAB appointments to your Google Calendar.
What we access
- The ability to create, update, and delete calendar events in your selected Google Calendar
- Read-only access to your calendar list so you can choose which calendar to sync to
What we do with this data
- We create calendar events in your Google Calendar when appointments are made in DOAB
- We update or remove those events when appointments are changed or cancelled
- We store an authentication token securely to maintain your connection
What we do NOT do
- We do not read, store, or share your existing Google Calendar events
- We do not access any Google data beyond what is needed for calendar syncing
- We do not sell or share your Google data with any third parties
- We do not use your Google data for advertising purposes
Revoking access
You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Settings > Google Calendar in the DOAB app. You can also revoke access directly from your Google Account Permissions.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
SMS Messaging
Our Premium plan includes SMS messaging capabilities powered by Twilio. If you enable SMS features:
- SMS messages are sent to client phone numbers stored in your DOAB account
- Message content, delivery status, and timestamps are logged for your records
- We do not use client phone numbers for any purpose other than sending messages you initiate

How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the DOAB platform
- Process your subscription and payments
- Send appointment confirmations and reminders on your behalf
- Sync appointments to your connected Google Calendar
- Send you important service updates and notifications
- Improve our platform and develop new features
Data Security
We take appropriate measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (SSL/TLS)
- Secure storage of authentication tokens and credentials
- Regular security reviews and updates
- Business-level data isolation (your data is only accessible to your account)
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
